Liesl Truscott brings 20 years’ experience in corporate responsibility and environmental management to her role as Director of Corporate Benchmarking. A graduate of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership “Women Leading Change” class of 2022, Liesl leads the Benchmarking Program, enabling companies to measure and manage their performance against their peers and against the Textile Exchange Climate+ targets. Liesl specializes in raw materials, industry accountability, and corporate reporting and has a deep knowledge of the sector gleaned from more than 10 years at Textile Exchange. With a first-class degree in Environmental Management from the University of Newcastle in Australia, Liesl’s career has spanned both the private and public sectors. She is a Commissioner to the Capitals Coalition Values Commission and serves on the Technical Advisory Group of the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB), the Aligning Accounting Approaches for Nature (Align) project, and the Advisory Board of the Copenhagen Fashion Awards.
