Jess manages the schedule, organisation and administration of Mark Gough, CEO of Capitals Coalition. Previously, she worked in investment banking, as a personal assistant for Mediobanca’s Derivatives and Leveraged Finance Managing Directors and their teams, as well as providing executive assistance cover for the branch and group CEOs. Jess is proud to be part of the Coalition and our shared mission for economic system change, and is driven by a strong sense of equity and social justice and a passion for the natural world.
She initially started out as an actress, working on stage and screen, and also branched out into small-scale theatre directing. Alongside this, she has worked as an administrator, researcher, sub-editor and mentor across a range of industries, including retail and commercial banking, TV production, lifestyle publishing, public affairs and the voluntary sector.
An eternal student at heart, Jess’s highlights along the way include learning Italian whilst at Mediobanca, and a passion for – and qualifications in – horticulture and garden design from her time at BBC Gardeners’ World Magazine.
