Gemma supports the Coalition’s communications, outreach and messaging work, specialising in visual and digital communication.
She has worked across the environmental sector for the last ten years, including in nature reserve management, biosecurity, community engagement, environmental education and, most recently, EU-level advocacy. Now based in Brussels, Belgium, her work previously took her to several islands and nature reserves in the UK and New Zealand.
Passionate about understanding the natural world and using creative ways to inspire people to act for a better future, Gemma holds a BSc in Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour and a Masters in Children’s Book Illustration. Under the name Gemma Wells, she is a published children’s author and illustrator.
